Having trouble picking a program and a CEGEP? Pygma can help!

Everyone knows that choosing a CEGEP and a program of study can be stressful. To make the best choice possible, you’ll need to do some research: find information, ask for advice, and attend CEGEP open house events.

The March 1 cut-off date for first-round CEGEP applications is just around the corner. Luckily there's a new tool to help future CEGEP students with their decisions: Pygma. Developed by Service régional d’admission du Montréal métropolitain (SRAM), Pygma is an academic information system that offers key information about every program leading to a college diploma (DCS) and all the colleges offering those programs in Quebec.

Pygma was created to help teenagers and adults who want to pursue a college education and earn a DCS. Not only is it a powerful tool for future students looking for information about colleges and programs of study, it’s also designed to help academic and career advisors, guidance counsellors, and training advisors.

Available in French and English, Pygma lets you search for descriptions of every DSC program and provides information about the types of jobs available to people who hold those diplomas, employment statistics for program graduates, detailed information, pictures of all the CEGEPs in Quebec, and much more. Pygma’s search filters make it easy to find the college and the program of study that match your needs and goals.

Put simply, Pygma is a one-stop site with handy, up-to-date information so you can find the answers to your burning CEGEP questions, quickly and easily. Try it!
